A PAIR OF 'SATSUMA' STYLE CERAMIC BALUSTER VASES
Japan, Meiji period
Circular section, ring base, large ovoid body, short cylindrical neck and an expanded mouth, the external surface with a blue ground with a gilt floral decoration, two large reserves with landscapes with figures, both marked 金光山 (Kinkōzan) with the Shimazu emblem to the center of the base.
