Pietro Andrea Canonieri (Genoa, second half of the 1500s - Antwerp, Spain, 1639) was a famous doctor, scholar and scholar of esotericism. Deeply influenced by the bell, he was the author of numerous works of medicine, philosophy and law. In this work it faces numerous curious and esoteric topics including sleepwalking, if between God and men there is real friendship, the demons oracles, the birth of roses without spines at the origin of the world, the change of the sex of the 'Man and woman, what they can and what the astrologers cannot read in the stars, which secrets can reveal demons, natural remedies against the evil, if demons have a body and if they can generate and reproduce with some women, etc. etc. The present volume is divided into five books and is enriched with numerous artistic capile. Binding is in original parchment. The content is rather rare and studio.
