MANSON CHARLES: (1934-2017) American Criminal who led the cult-based Manson Family, responsible for multiple deaths (including the murder of Sharon Tate) and the subject of Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. A.L.S., Easy, Manson, the signature incorporating a swift doodle representing a swastika, two pages, 4to, n.p. (San Quentin State Prison, California), n.d. (7th December 1979), to Nuel Melton Emmons. Manson writes, in part, (mis-spelled words retained), 'I always git the feeling that your puting me on - I told you I'm not in the money, nore gold silver wood or stone - I've never seen you because you never let me know nothing. You never reveal you or what you see or whats going on in your circles. Just like the old days……where the big bucks roll you never say & I never push to know. Your business is yours. You play like I know or got something you want HAHA - would you let me in your Bank book as I have some of them telephone numbers. You got keys & I got keys you will never trust & I learnt the same things. I blow a lot of smoke & send up a lot of hot air but when it comes down to the real deal I wont sell & can't be tricked. Used to a point yes, but misused is another circle. KGO ask about you & if you had riped me off & I said you were new to the literary world & got traped & some of what we did was riped off from N.Y. etc but as far as it being you that you were OK with me & I didn't lie. A brother is worth more than anything due ever seen on paper. Also note that you could put something in on the Visiting time that is if you come……the big visiting room is not good for me either. We could just wright…..I got little to no control anyway & anything I try to do everyone els trys to stop it. If I say save a tree they run to cut it - If I say save your life they run to do whatever is conterry'. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Manson. VG
