Important piece of furniture / display from an original photo from 1880. Inside are portraits of princes, princesses, warriors, musicians, workers, dancers and archive images from the first archaeological collections in Cairo. Produced with noble woods and mother of pearl. Inside we find the inscription "Costantinople" in gold as a testimony of origin. The photographs are all original and altogether there are 46. Constantinople, 1880. Dimensions 66 x 50 x 12 cm N.B. The department was unable to translate either of the two front lettering that could indicate the photographer's name.
