From a series depicting the Carracci frescoes in Palazzo Fava, Bologna. The series contains twelve plates that show the scenes of the Aeneid and eight plates, of which these four, of the 'terms' that separate the narrative episodes and represent the nudes that subdue the harpies.
Impressions on laid paper with watermarks. Two trimmed specimens, other two with margins of about 2 cm beyond the platemark. Trimmed exemplars with some paper residues on the reverse and ancient handwritten notes in pen. Foxing. Otherwise in very good condition.
