Decorated with gold branches, leaves and flowers.
one side is decorated with a central silver crown form element set with old cut diamonds.

* Inside the box was found the dedication from 25.07.1928 -: ”Given by Lady Mountbatten-Batterseld to the Earl of Balfour on his 80th birthday”.
