Apulian or Sicilian Red-Figure Lid; 4th century BC; diam cm 14; Very fine Lekanis Lid decorated with two winged erotes, one of them holds a phiale; two stylized vegetal branches between them. The secondary decoration consists of a wavy band which runs all over the lip; a stylized central palmetta surrounded by two dotted flowers on the top of the grip. Into the inner surface, a painted greek letter Psi. Restored. Provenance: English private collection formed between 1970s and late 1990s.
