Clément Massier (1844 - 1917) An Iridescent Glazed Earthenware Vase, lustre glazed in green, tan and violet tones with metallic lustre on an iridescent background. Tapered body with a circular and square base, lightly coiled in the upper part. Rich decoration of seaweed on a marine background. Four small, high relief applications give the jug more of a sculptural look. Glazed signature on the base. Circa 1900.

Jarrón en cerámica irisada y esmaltada en tonos verdes, tostados y violetas, con lustre metálico sobre un fondo irisado. Cuerpo troncocónico con base circular y cuadrado, ligeramente enroscado en la parte superior. Rica decoración de algas en un fondo marino. Cuatro pequeñas plicaciones en altorelieve, refuerzan el aspecto escultural de la pieza. Firma esmaltada en la base. Hacia 1900.
