Indian brass Aftaba Moghul period Silver plating Peacocks Enamel
Indian brass Aftaba for water or tea with long handle. Typical of the Moghul period and was imported in Northern India from Persia. This large is a fine example of one that would have been made in the early 20th century. Silver plating and finely designed with flower decorations and peacocks and then coated with enamel.
