Jun glazed pottery vessel, Northern Song dynasty (960 - 1127)
Blue glazed ceramic with purple-splashed decoration. The shape has a narrow, round-profile foot that widens to the shoulders, which are rounded, on which is attached a rounded neck with a protruding, curled edge. The glaze occupies the entire piece but stops before reach the foot It is in perfect condition, being a type of piece highly sought after by collectors.
Height: 6.5 cm; Mouth diameter: 12.7 cm; Base diameter: 6.5 cm.
