Silver metal ink box, 20th century. - Silver metal with engraved decoration. The lid is decorated with a branch of cherry blossoms accompanied by a poem about nature located in the upper left corner. The poem is signed ”姚茫父” Yao Mangfu and sealed. It also has a three-character rectangular punch stamped on the base ”淳青阁” (Chu Qing Ge). The box is rectangular in shape and consists of a lid and an ink container bronze coated inside. In very good condition with patina. Yao Mangfu (1876 - 1930) was a late Qing dynasty calligrapher, painter, and poet. This painter stood out, especially in the arts of bronze carving between calligraphy and art. oh the painting.
