Jean Prouvé (1901 - 1984) for Vitra 2002 edition.
EM table (Entretoise Métallique, metal crossbar), structure in dark black powder-coated steel veneer and top in natural color oak veneer laminated wood protected with varnish (slight flaws).
Measures 74 x 90 x 200 cm
Designed in the 1950s for his "Maison Tropicale" project. This table reflects the engineering works, so recognizable in Prouvé's work, in this case the structural forces are perfectly observed in the inclined legs joined by a tubular cross-section bar.
