Printed approbation by Maran the Rishon LeZion the Great Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef for a Kuntres permitting the use of a purification system of the Mikveh developed by the Scientific Techonological Institute of Halacha. Jerusalem, 2003.
In the letter of approbation, Maran the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadya Yosef permits the use of a purification system of the Mikveh which was developed by the members of the Scientific Technological Institute of Halacha following Halachic rules.
Famously, there was a heated controversy over the Kashrus of water purifiers put in the Mikveh and the kashrus of such Mikveh. This is a clear Psak Halacha by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef permitting the device.
