Wells Coates for Ekco (E K Cole Ltd.) an art deco bakelite Thermovent space heater, a version of which was featured in 'Thirties, British Art and Design Before The War', the 1979 Haywood Gallery exhibition held by the V & A and the Crafts Council, that version being originally designed for use on the Queen Mary before being manufactured for general sale.
