Collection of [3] Letters from the Gaon Rabbi Meir Karelitz, Brother of the Chazon Ish


* Recommendation for his in-law 'the gaon Rabbi Menachem Yehudah, who is proficient in young men's studies and has much experience in this field.' He requests that he take him on as a lecturer at the Etz Chaim yeshivah. Tammuz, 1946. Entirely in his hand and with his signature.


* Two printed letters by 'a Torah teacher in the Land of Israel, ' about his efforts to establish a Talmud Torah in Tel Aviv. Signed in his hand and with his stamp. One of them is with the signature of Rabbi Nissan? Karelitz.


Rabbi Meir Kareliz [1875-1956] was rabbi of Lechovitz, one of the heads of the Va'ad HaYeshivot in Poland and in the Land of Israel, one of the founders of Chinuch Atzma'i and a member of the Council of Torah Sages. Eldest brother of the Chazon Ish. In 1939, he ascended to the Land of Israel and resided in Tel Aviv. He was one of the leading activists for Chareidi Jewry.
