Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor, Rabbi of Kovno. Kovno 1888.

A long letter which the famous rabbi of Kovno, one of the leaders of Russian Jewry and one of the greatest halachic rulers of his generation, sent to.... In the letter Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan thanks him and adds that "I will not forget his goodness for eternity".
Letters written in the hand of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor are very uncommon: He generally employed a writer and then signed his name on his letters. It seems that in honor of .... , Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan wrote the entire letter himself.
