DAS BLAUE PFERD I - FRANZ MARC
Art on enamel, a piece by Boos & Hahn from the 1980ies, 62,5 x 83 cm, the sign was once found in the archives of the factory, Franz Marc (1880-1916) is known as one of the best known artists of German expressionism, "the blue horse I" is one of his most famous works - as many artists of that time, Marc was sent to war, too. He fell in the battle of Verdun when he was only 36 years old.
