A large collection [48] of Machzorim Siddurim and prayer books - the years of 1740-1940

Among the Machzorim we'll mention:

Machzor Kavanat ha'Peitan, for Sukkot. First edition, Amsterdam 1750.

Machzor Kavanat ha'Peitan, for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Amsterdam edition 1761.

Machzor of Ashkenaz custom for Shabbat during the Sukkot holiday and for Shemini Atzerat and Simchat Torah. Preps printing Amsterdam 1838. Nice copy on fine paper, nice engraving on the opening.

Machzor for Yom Kpur with Dutch translation, Amsterdam 1842. Very rare.

Siddur Avodat Yisrael, Shoken Publishing House 1937- preserved copy.

Seder Moedim, the prayers of the three Festivals according to the custom of the Sephardim. Amsterdam 1771,

Signed by the publisher Rabbi Yaakov da Siloia Mindez, one of the leaders of the Portuguese community in Amsterdam. There is a title page and an end including the publisher's signature. Pages 3-47 are missing. leather book cover.

all together 48 Siddurim, Machzorim and prayer books.

The condition of the books varies, deficiencies have not been checked and there may be some. Many are in good condition, some are in good-medium condition and a few are in medium condition. There are defects in the covers, some minor defects and others more noticeable. There are stains in some of the books. In a shallow inspection we did not see any moth holes. In any case, the lot is sold as is without any commitment regarding the condition.

מצב הספרים משתנה, לא נבדקו חוסרים ויתכן שישנם. רבים במצב טוב ישנם במצב טוב-בינוני ומעטים בינוני. ישנם פגמים בכריכות בחלק פגמים קלים ובאחרים ניכרים יותר. ישנם כתמים בחלק מהספרים. בבדיקה לא מעמיקה שעשינו לא ראינו נקבי עש. בכל מקרה הלוט נמכר כמו שהוא ללא התחייבות לגבי המצב.
