Tully Lee Western "Whispering in the Treetops" A painting by Tuli Li. A painter representing the Chinese modern art world M10 Li Zili was born in Shanghai, China in 1962. He graduated from Shanghai University in 1984. In 1989, he went to study at the Grenoble Academy of Fine Arts and the National Academy of Fine Arts (Paris Ecole Nationale Superior des Beaux-Arts) in France. In 1994, he created a mural in Chinatown, Paris. In 1997, he won the Grand Prix of the French Artists Salon (Paris). In 2000, he held his first solo exhibition in Mitsukoshi, Japan (and has held it every year since then). In 2001, he received a doctorate from the University of Paris VIII. He is an official artist of the UNESCO International Art Association, a member of the jury of the Autumn Salon, and a member of the French Artists Association. He has obtained French citizenship and is currently carrying out his creative activities in Paris.
